The High Sierra Fly Casters annual fund-raising dinner will be this Saturday at the CVIC Hall in Minden. A no-host bar begins at 5:30 p.m. with dinner served at 7 p.m.
Beginning at 5:30 p.m. noted fly tiers will demonstrate their specialty flies known in local waters. There will be great food, good conversation, prizes, raffles and a silent auction. The grand prize will be a two-night stay at the Deer Creek Inn Bed and Breakfast in Nevada City, Calif.
Tickets for $25 per person are available at The Angler's Edge, 1506 Highway 395, Gardnerville or $30 at the door the day of the event.
You need not be a member to participate.
