Crafters, vendors needed for FSC event

The Family Support Council is planning their second annual Giant Thrift Store Sale, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 16 at Hidden Treasures Antique Thrift Shop. This is a big party and fundraiser for Family Support Council with all proceeds going to the free programs offered to Douglas County residents for domestic violence intervention and the women and children's shelter. The Lions club will be on hand to sell hot dogs and soda. There will be raffle prizes galore, hourly specials for deep discounts on merchandise at Hidden Treasures. Last year over 13 vendors participated in the event with products ranging from plants to beauty products and antiques. For crafters and vendors who would like to participate in this event, the cost is $25 for a booth space and a donation of an item to the raffle.
