Family Support Council Thrift Shop volunteers needed for it's new shop

The Family Support Council Thrift Shop is in need of volunteers for its new shop at 1224 Pep Circle, Gardnerville, behind Job's Peak Veterinary Hospital on Highway 395.

Volunteers will be asked to use their creative talents in assisting with decorating and organizing the Thrift Shop. They will also help sort through donations and other treasures that have been donated to Family Support Council. Incentives will be provided to volunteers to encourage them to continue to volunteer at the Thrift Shop.

The money earned from the Thrift Shop will go back into programs at Family Support Council so we can continue to provide quality services to families in Douglas County. Thrift Shop monies will also be used to assist with the expenses of the Domestic Violence Shelter once it is established.

Family Support Council is looking at opening the Thrift Shop doors in Mid-November. Donations will be accepted at the Thrift Shop beginning the second week of November.
