Bob Del Carlo of Virginia City scored the first hole-in one of the season for the Empire Ranch Senior Men's Golf Club on Hole No. 8 (161 yards) on the Red Course. Del Carlo fired his hole-in-one during the senior men's club's 4-Man/2 best ball tournament. Del Carlo is a retired sheriff from Storey County.
