Chuck Edgar, a long time Gardnerville resident, recently scored a hole-in-one the first day of the Empire Ranch Senior Men's Golf Club Individual Stroke Play Championship Tournament.
He used a 4-iron on the 130-yard, par-3 fifth hole on the Blue Course. The witnesses were Don Burge, Ken Sharples and Warrren Shaw.
That same hole at Empire Ranch gave up another hole-in-one on Saturday. Jim Osborne hit his second career ace when he used his 9-iron from 139 yards out. Betty Osborne witnessed the feat.
