A meeting of the Douglas County Planning Commission will be held on February 13, 2024, at 1:00 pm, at the CVIC Hall, 1602 Esmeralda Avenue, Minden. The Planning Commission reserves the right to take items in a different order; combine two or more agenda items for consideration; remove items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions relating to an item on the agenda at any time.

For possible action. Discussion on development application DP24- 0016, a Zoning Map Amendment (ZMA), requesting to change the zoning designation of 89.39 acres from A-19 (Agricultural, 19-acre minimum lot size) to SFR-8,000 (Single Family Residential, 8,000 square foot minimum lot size), MFR (Multi-Family Residential), and PF (Public Facilities), each within a PD (Planned Development) overlay. The subject parcels are located north of Buckeye Road, east of Minden Elementary School in the A-19 zoning district in the Town of Minden Community Plan. The property owner is Park Ranch Holdings, LLC, represented by Keith Ruben, R.O. Anderson Engineering. (APNs: 1320- 29-501-003, 1320-29-601-003, 1320-28-000-046, 1320-28-000-047)

For Possible Action. Discussion on the adoption of Ordinance 2024- 1635, an ordinance amending Chapter 20.622 of the Douglas County Code, by limiting and restricting Vacation Home Rentals (VHRs) in the Lincoln Park residential community. (Ernie Strehlow 775-782-6280)
