Genoa, Nev. — A fatal collision on Interstate 580 around Carson City has the freeway closed this morning with no estimated time to reopen, according to NVroads.com I would suggest taking Carson Street, but I bet there won’t be much choice.
A spot along Pine Nut Creek upstream from Fish Springs recorded .45 inches of rain from a thunderstorm that made its way up the Pine Nuts on Tuesday evening. Fredericksburg resident Jeff Garvin said he had a half-dozen strikes on his lightning detector.
