Driver admits DUI-related crash

A man who caused substantial bodily harm to another while driving under the influence of alcohol and a controlled substance faces up to 20 years in prison.

According to court documents Gerald Thomas Patrick Elliot, 32, was arrested Nov. 1, 2022, with a blood point alcohol level of .136 and a combination of THC after colliding with another vehicle on Kimmerling Road.

Sentencing is set for May 13.

• A man arrested with a mid-level amount of a controlled substance faces up to 10 years in prison.

Jonathan Lee Duran was arrested Jan. 29 with 28 grams or more of methamphetamine.  He was released from the custody of Douglas County Jail on his own recognizance Monday.

Sentencing is set for May 13.

• A woman with at least 20 years of drug use and prior possession charges in the last five years faces up to four years in prison.

Lindsey Ann Rix, 35, was arrested Dec. 29, 2023, for possession of methamphetamine.

Sentencing is set for May 13.

• A man faces up four years in prison on a drug possession charge.

Vincent Lee Tibbetts, 29, was arrested Feb. 9 for possession of methamphetamine.

Sentencing is set for May 20. He is seeking probation.
