Carson High boys soccer was able to put together a 3-0 win over the Tigers on Saturday after a scoreless first half.

UP NEXT: Douglas (1-10-1, 1-6 in Class 5A North) will travel to Galena (4-7-1, 1-1) on Wednesday for a 3:30 p.m. start.


Douglas volleyball swept by Spanish Springs

The Douglas High School volleyball team couldn’t take a set from Spanish Springs Thursday, falling 25-13, 25-15, 25-18.

UP NEXT: Douglas (10-8, 1-4 in Class 5A North) will travel to Carson (12-2, 4-2) Thursday.


Grizzly tennis sweeps Douglas

Both the Douglas High boys and girls tennis teams fell to Galena on Thursday.

The boys lost 12-6, getting four wins in singles and two in doubles.

Kolten Brown and Bennett Schoenemann were the only two Tigers to pick up multiple points in the loss.

On the girls side, Douglas fell 11-7.

Annika Wertz and Annie Hill each won a pair of points in singles for the Tigers while Ava Gildea and Alexis Hyde won two of their three sets to grab two points in doubles.
