It was the Roaring ’20s in Minden on Oct. 7 as the Douglas County Republican Women hosted their annual scholarship dinner.
Money raised from the fundraiser goes to fund scholarships to graduating Douglas High School seniors.
“Last year we were able to award five graduating seniors $1,000 each,” organizers said. “We hope to be able to do the same this year.”
Anyone who was unable to attend, but would like to donate, can send checks earmarked for the scholarship fund to DCRW, P.O. Box 1214, Minden, NV 89423.
