NOTICE OF CLOSE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE FEBRUARY 6, 2024, PRESIDENTIAL PREFERENCE PRIMARY ELECTION 

Pursuant to NRS 293.560, notice is hereby given, of the following voter registration deadlines for the February 6, 2024, Presidential Preference Primary Election. 

Standard Registration: 

Deadline to register in-person or by mail is Tuesday, January 9, 2024. 

DMV registrations fall under this registration deadline. 

Mailed applications must be post-marked by this day. 

Anyone that registers during this period will be mailed a ballot. 


Extended Online Registration (1/10-1/23): 

Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License or Identification card may register to vote by visiting GoVoteDouglas.com or RegisterToVoteNV.gov no later than 11:59:59, Tuesday, January 23, 2024. 

Anyone that registers during this period will be mailed a ballot. 


Online Same Day Registration (1/24-2/6): 

Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License or Identification Card may register to vote by visiting GoVoteDouglas.com or RegisterToVoteNV.gov no later than 11:59:59, Tuesday, February 6, 2024. 

Anyone that registers during this period is considered a Same Day Registrant and must appear in person, at any early voting or Election Day vote center to vote on an electronic machine. Same Day Registrants must present a valid Nevada DL/ID, or Tribal ID, and if applicable proof of residency. Same Day Registrants vote a provisional ballot. 



In-Person Same Day Registration (During Early Voting or on Election Day): 

Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License, Identification Card, or Tribal ID may register to vote by visiting any vote center during early voting or on Election Day. 

  1. Same Day Registrants must present a valid Nevada DL/ID, or Tribal ID, and if applicable proof of residency. Same Day Registrants vote a provisional ballot. 
  2. Early Voting and Election Day vote centers will be published, included in sample ballots and available at GoVoteDouglas.com
