NOTICE OF CLOSE OF REGISTRATION FOR THE PRIMARY ELECTION
Pursuant to NRS 293.560, notice is hereby given, of the following voter registration deadlines for the June 14, 2022, Primary Election:
Close of Standard Registration: May 17th
Deadline to register in-person or by mail is: Tuesday, May 17th.
DMV applications fall in this category. Mailed applications must be post-marked by this date. Anyone that registers during this period will be mailed a ballot.
Extended Online Registration: May 18th- May 31st
Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License or Identification Card may register to vote
by visiting GoVoteDouglas.com or RegisterToVoteNV.gov no later than 11:59:59 pm, Tuesday, May 31st.
Anyone that registers during this period will be mailed a ballot.
Online Same Day Registration: June 1st- June 14th
Voters with a Nevada Driver’s License or valid, Identification Card may register to vote by visiting GoVoteDouglas.com or RegisterToVoteNV.gov.
Anyone that registers during this period is considered a same day registrant and must appear in person, either at the Historic Courthouse for a paper ballot, or at any early vote center or Election Day vote center to cast a ballot on an electronic voting machine.
o Same day registrants must present a valid Nevada DL/ID or Tribal ID and if applicable proof of residency. Same day registrants will vote a provisional ballot.
