Genoa Historic District Committee

Public Hearing

A meeting of the Genoa Historic District

Committee will be held on Wednesday, April

26, 2023 at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held

at the Genoa Town Hall, at 2287 Main Street,

Minden, NV 89423. The Genoa Historic

District Committee reserves the right to: take

items in a different order; combine two or

more agenda items for consideration; remove

items from the agenda; and/or delay discussions

relating to an item on the agenda at any

time.

The applications below will be considered

under the Public Hearing portion of the meeting.

The final agenda and staff reports will be

online prior to the meeting on the County’s

website at http://douglascountynv.gov, click on

agendas and minutes.

For possible action. The Genoa Historic District

Commission (GHDC) will discuss possible

revisions to the Douglas County Code, Chapter

2.28, Genoa Historic District Commission;

and Chapter 20.680, Genoa Historic (GH)

Overlay District. The GHDC members may

vote to make recommendations to the Board

of County Commissioners (BOCC) regarding

For possible action. Discussion of approval

to adopt into record a proposed application

form for all reviews of projects submitted

to the Genoa Historic District Commission

(GHDC) and to use as a procedure to document

any approvals and/or denials moving
