Genoa Historic District Committee
Public Hearing
A meeting of the Genoa Historic District Committee
will be held on Wednesday, December
14, 2022 at 5:00 pm. The meeting will be held
at the Genoa Town Hall, at 2287 Main Street,
Genoa, NV 89411. The Genoa Historic District
Committee reserves the right to: take items in
a different order; combine two or more agenda
items for consideration; remove items from
the agenda; and/or delay discussions relating
to an item on the agenda at any time.
The applications below will be considered
under the Public Hearing portion of the
meeting. The Agenda and Staff Reports will
be online prior to the meeting on the County’s
website at http://douglascountynv.gov, click on
agendas and minutes.
For possible action. The Genoa Historic
District (GHDC) will discuss possible revisions
to the Douglas County Title 20 Code, Chapter
2.28 relative to the Genoa Historic District
Commission (GHDC) and Chapter 20.680
relative to the Genoa Historic (GH) Overlay
District and other properly related matters.
The GHDC Board members may vote to
make recommendations to The Board of
County Commissioners (BOCC). The BOCC
may direct staff concerning future amendments
to the Genoa Historic District Commission
Ordinance. (AJ Hames).
