NOTICE OF HEARING ON PROPOSED RATE INCREASE
Notice is hereby given that a public hearing will be held at or about 10:00 a.m. on April 18, 2023, by the Alpine County Board of Supervisors at the Alpine County Administration Building, 99 Water Street, Markleeville, California. The hearing will consider a request by Douglas Disposal, Inc., to set residential and commercial solid waste disposal rates. The effective date of the proposed rate increase is May 1, 2023. Sample rates are as follows:
RESIDENTIAL Current Rate New Rate
* One 32-Gallon Can 17.79 18.63
* Two 32-Gallon Cans 25.10 26.29
COMMERCIAL
* Per 32-Gallon Can 5.24 5.47
* Per Cubic Yard 15.02 15.74
