Santa Claus might not be doing flips and cycling, but he will be available for pictures Sunday at both Tumbleweed’s Minden and Carson City facilities.

The event is free to the public to not only check out the what Tumbleweed’s has to offer, but it’s a fundraiser to benefit Minden resident Kellie McHenry.

For more than a year and half McHenry has been battling breast cancer that has recently spread to her brain . She has undergone immunotherapy and chemotherapy treatments in various centers, including Carson City, Reno, UCSF and MD Anderson in Houston. While she undergoes treatment, expenses for travel, meals and lodging will add up over the next several months.

But the generosity of Tumbleweed’s efforts and participates at the event can help ease some of those burdens so that McHenry and her family can continue to focus on her health.

During the event there will be photos with Santa, a free open gym and free spin classes. There will also be raffle prizes and donations in person or electronically will be accepted. The Minden event is 10 a.m. to noon and the Carson City one is 1 p.m. to 3p.m.

A GoFundMe on McHenry’s behalf has also been set up at http://gofund.me/c1c9dda
