On 8/18/2022, the Douglas County Board of
Commissioners INTRODUCED the following
ordinance:
ORDINANCE: 2022-1605
TITLE: Ordinance 2022-1605 amends Ordinance
2022-1596, changing the effective
date abolishing the Office of Constable
for the East Fork Township and appointment
of the Douglas County Sheriff as
the ex officio Constable for the East Fork
and Tahoe Townships from December 31,
2022, to August 20, 2022, and making the
effective date retroactive.
SUMMARY: An ordinance amending Ordinance
2022-1596, changing the effective
date abolishing the Office of Constable for
the East Fork Township and appointment
of the Douglas County Sheriff as the ex
officio Constable from December 31, 2022,
to August 20, 2022, and making the effective
date retroactive, as well as providing
for other properly related matters.
The 2nd Reading of this Ordinance will be
held on 9/1/2022. A copy of this ordinance is
on file in the Clerkâs Office for public review.
