Saratoga Springs big yard sale Saturday

The Sierra Nevada Republican Women’s club is participating in Saratoga Springs Estates’ giant community yard sale 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday. A club member is allowing her home, at 2924 La Cresta Circle, to stage the sale. Lots of items will be sold ranging from furniture, clothing, jewelry, home décor, houseware, linens, tools, hardware, sports, holiday, some antiques, and more. This is a fundraiser and all proceeds will go to the club. Since SNRW is a political action committee, the club is able to donate to local and state Republican candidates. During the coronavirus shutdown the club was not able to raise funds toward the 2022 election races. For information contact Jan at 775-781-2637. The next meeting of the club is June 9 at the Carson Valley Inn. Bellator Firearms Training Master Instructor Jackie Paris will speak on how women can properly and effectively protect themselves in a safe and controlled environment. Doors open at 11:15 a.m., buffet lunch served 11:45 a.m., $26 a person (reservations limited per the governor’s latest mandate).
