Genoa, Nev. — The Douglas County Board of Equalization upheld the Assessor’s $35.1 million valuation of Beach Club on Thursday. The high-end condo project was trying to get a discount because it hasn’t been built out yet, though they’re still selling condos.

Douglas Emergency Management reported nine new cases and a dozen recoveries on Thursday bringing the number of active cases down to 462.
Expect sunny skies and a high in the mid 50s today with the wind picking up out of the west at 15-20 mph, gusting to 30 mph. There’s a lake wind advisory out in the desert, which poses more of a danger to motorists due to blowing dust than to boaters.
