From cowboy hats to crystal, there's a lot of items on sale Friday and Saturday at St. Gall Catholic Church in Gardnerville.
The Walmart will be eclipsed as the largest home store in Gardnerville on Friday and Saturday.
That’s when St. Gall Catholic Church is hosting its annual rummage sale, and the place is packed to the rafters with a huge assortment of pretty much anything under the sun.
The price of admission is a mask, as the church is under the state mandate.
The annual sale was entirely outdoors last year, but the gym is packed with clothing and all kinds of other things.
Organizers describe it as the “Big Sale” and anyone traveling Centerville, AKA the Highway to Heaven, will know what they mean on Friday morning as shoppers park on either side of the road after the parking lot fills up, and it fills up quick.
The sale is 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday.
St. Gall has been conducting a rummage sale to raise money for church since at least 1979.
