Douglas County authorities are seeking a man who robbed a Minden convenience store 6:25 a.m. Saturday.

The robber concealed his identity by wearing a Halloween wig and mask.  He presented the clerk with a note then exited the store.  The suspect’s last known direction was south in the alley behind AM/PM gas station North. He took off with $100-$200 in cash and skateboarded away from the store.

The jacket had florescent yellow highlights with a patch or insignia on the sleeve of the jacket and the shoes worn by the suspect.  If you have any recollections of these items, please contact Investigator Steven Schultz at 775-782-9905.

The man was described as a white, in his 20s or 30s, around 5-feet, 8 inches tall, wearing a black hoodie, blue or black jeans, with a pair of sunglasses with black rims and amber lenses.

He was wearing a small backpack.

This is the second time the Minden store has been robbed in two months.

Around 9:40 p.m. Sept. 12, a white male adult wearing all black entered the store and used a pistol to rob the clerk.

A Secret Witness reward has been offered for the capture of the robber in the September incident.

Anyone with information about either robbery is asked to call Secret Witness at 775-782-7463.
