Secret Witness is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the capture of the man who robbed the El Dorado Bank in Gardnerville on Friday morning.

The robbery occurred at about 10:50 a.m. when a white male adult carrying a briefcase entered the El Dorado Savings Bank at 1517 U.S. Highway 395, Gardnerville.
The robber reportedly told a clerk that he had a weapon in the case, but did not show it. He took an undisclosed amount of money from the bank.
He was last seen on foot northbound from the bank. The suspect is described as a white male adult in his mid-40s to mid-50s, approximately 6 feet, 1 inch, weighing approximately 170 pounds with brown hair.
He was last seen wearing a western style checkered shirt mostly white, blue jeans, a dark colored baseball cap with military purple heart insignia, and dark lens glasses.
