Carson Blue Jays romp against Baker City

The Carson Blue Jays coasted to an easy victory over Baker City, Oregon, 13-2, on Friday.

Carson took a 4-0 lead in the first inning highlighted by Josh Buchan’s double.

Justin Stevens got the win for the Blue Jays, giving two runs on seven hits while striking out four over 4 2/3 innings in the game that was called after five innings. Damien Branco recorded the final out for Carson.

The Blue Jays totaled nine hits. Kobe Morgan, Casey Martensen, and Vernon Painter all had two hits for Carson.
