Thanks for the 'Tea'

Thank you to Jim and Barbara Slade and the Angwin Family Foundation for bringing "Three Cups of Tea" to Carson Valley. Learning about international efforts for peace to educate children, and especially to educate girls has given Valley residents and students a greater appreciation of what we enjoy. Some locals may desire "protection" from outside influences, but we are not isolated.

As the world becomes smaller, introducing such global issues has begun to equip our youth with knowledge and empathy to cope in an ever-changing world.

Thank you for introducing us to Greg Mortenson who has made a huge difference in the lives of people in remote areas of our planet.
