Valley resident offers 'beautiful designs that come together'

Gardnerville resident Ellen Bartolomucci, owner of Ellen's Interiors, has 15 years of experience in residential and commercial custom interiors.

"We provide all the expertise necessary to design, manufacture and install the unique look you demand," said Bartolomucci. "Types of custom work we offer are long drapes with large grommets, exquisite pleated valances, uniquely shaped cornice boxes, and luscious duvet covers that really fit the mattress, just to name a few."

Bartolomucci said she has experience working with silks, velvets, leathers and sheers, among other fabrics, as well as slipcover and upholstery work.

"We have tools available to help you visualize the project, so it takes all the guesswork out of hard-to-imagine designs," she said.

Bartolomucci manufactures all projects from her workshop in her Gardnerville home.

"We have on hand many fabrics, trims, linings as well as drapery hardware," she said. "Designs range from very traditional to ultra-modern. Clients can visit our workroom to see their work in progress."

Bartolomucci said she strives to work within her customers' budgets.

"Service is our No. 1 priority," she said. "We believe communication is the key to a successful client relationship."

Additionally, Ellen Interior's offers Horizon Window Shade Coverings made of naturally woven materials.

"They are a wonderful way to have 'sustainable products' in your home or office," Bartolomucci said.

Her business also partners with wood refurbisher and cabinet-maker Sierra Wood Products run by Bartolomucci's husband Mark.

"We offer lining replacement for your drapes and other window treatments due to shrinkage, sun damage or pet mishaps," Bartolomucci said. "We will come to your home to re-measure and remove them at no charge."
