Soroptimist International of Carson Valley President Cindy White presents Shannon Harris of the Boys & Girls Club of Carson Valley with a check while Jeri Johnson, looks on, Tuesday, June 22. Proceeds from the 2010 Savor the Flavor event hosted by Soroptimist were designated for the Boys & Girls Club. Soroptimist donated $2,325 to the club for operating costs. The annual Savor the Flavor wine and food events raises funds for service projects that help women and children throughout the year.
