Public lands around and north of Stead Airport will be closed Wednesday through Saturday and again Sept. 11-19 for activities related to the National Championship Air Races.
The Bureau of Land Management Carson City District-Sierra Front Field Office, announced the temporary closure of public lands on Monday.
The area of public land will be patrolled by Washoe County Sheriff's Office and the Reno Police Department to ensure that a safety perimeter within the course area is maintained throughout the duration of the events.
