Price takes close win in bid to face Heller

LAS VEGAS (AP) - Democrat Nancy Price eked out a narrow primary victory over opponent Ken McKenna in Nevada's sprawling 2nd congressional district.

Price said McKenna called her Wednesday morning and conceded a 349-vote loss in Tuesday's primary.

With 41,000 votes cast, Price tallied 18,612 to 18,263 for McKenna. Both drew

45 percent in unofficial results with all precincts reporting. Sam Dehne of Reno garnered the remaining votes.

A spokeswoman for Nevada Secretary of State Ross Miller said McKenna had not lodged a challenge.

Price faces Republican Congressman Dean Heller, who easily topped Reno pediatrician Patrick Colletti, 84 percent to 16 percent.
