Music for Carson Valley Days in Lampe Park

The Rock Bottom Band plays 6-11 p.m. today,

Rick Hays and American Steel play 2-6 p.m. Saturday,

SuperFreaks play 7-11 p.m. Saturday.


Country music and dancing tonight

The Rustlers play for a Carson Valley Days celebration hosted by Buckaroos and The French Bar, 8 p.m. today, in the rear parking lot of Buckaroos.

The Rustlers cover hard-core country music by Montgomery Gentry, Alan Jackson, Brooks & Dunn and Dierks Bently.

The Carson City-based band is Ev Musselman on guitar and lead vocals, Larry Goldman on bass guitar and vocals, Brian Williams on lead guitar and vocals, and Russ Hohenberger on drums and vocals.


Music in Minden Park

All Hat No Cattle play music at a book signing event for the "Frieda's Files" collection of historical Carson Valley stories by the Cordes cousins, 11:30 a.m. Saturday in Minden Park.

All Hat No Cattle is Natalie Nielson and Krista Jenkins who play old-time country from the 1920s to Patsy Cline, Emmylou Harris and Mary Chapin Carpenter. The duo is joined by guest Marv Stanberry.
