Our thanks again to our community.

Special thanks this month to the people of St. Gall Catholic Church who led our food donations with 440 pounds of food. We are so appreciative of each and every donation and want to acknowledge everyone, even those who wish to remain anonymous.

Food donations received in June (in pounds), Douglas County Public Library (30), Michael and Diane Pollock (24), Target Store in Minden (209), Girl Scout Troop No. 287 (89), Christ Presbyterian Church (15), James Settelmeyer (30), DAWG (312), DHS Culinary Arts Department (52), Russell's Mercantile (33), Alta Alpina Bike Club (78), Gold Dust West (80), Steve and Sandy Bolger (7) and Carson Valley United Methodist Church (90).

As always we so thank those who prefer to remain anonymous as well as Raley's, Smith's, Scolari's, Walmart, Costco, Shell Country Store, and Gourmet Bakery.

Cash donations were received from David and Tina Tubridy, David and Kathleen Hussman, John and Elizabeth Williams, Alexandra Peters, J. To donate nonperishable foods, please call Kathy at 782-3711 to arrange a time or just stop by the Carson Valley Community Food Closet at 1255 Waterloo, Gardnerville while we're open from noon - 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday to drop off whatever you can help with donate.
