Rep. Shelly Berkley, D-Nev., and Democratic gubernatorial candidate Rory Reid will headline the Douglas County Annual Fundraising Dinner 6 p.m. Feb. 13. Berkley, who represents Nevada's first congressional district, will be the event's keynote speaker, and Reid, currently serving as chairman of the Clark County Board of Commissioners, will serve as a guest speaker. The event will be held at the Carson Valley Inn in Minden.
Past speakers at the Douglas County annual fundraising event have included New Mexico Governor Bill Richardson and retired General Wesley Clark.
