This afternoon, Douglas County commissioners take up their part of the agreement. With their approval, work on the infrastructure to bring Minden water to Indian Hills and Carson City can begin. Commissioners are also discussing putting a 3 cent increase in room tax on the ballot and a 14 percent increase for water rates at the Zephyr Water Utility District. Commissioners meet 1:30 p.m. at the Tahoe Transportation Center in Stateline.
