Douglas County's assessor, recorder and clerk-treasurer are inviting residents to visit their offices at the Douglas County Administrative Building, 1616 Eighth St., in Minden, for an open house 4-6 p.m. Tuesday.
With filing for elections coming up in 10 days, it will be an opportunity for Clerk-Treasurer Ted Thran to educate folks on the new location for early voting this year. Doug Sonnemann will be describing how property's assessed and tax exemptions,. Recorder Karen Ellison will be showing displaying the public research area.
