'Grease' opens tonight at Pau-Wa-Lu

The All City High School/Middle School production of "Grease" is performed 7 p.m. today and Saturday, 2 p.m. Sunday, and 7 p.m. Feb. 26 and 27, and 2 p.m. Feb. 28 at Pau-Wa-Lu Middle School, 701 Long Valley Road in the Gardnerville Ranchos.

The Dakota Organization's production of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple" runs today through Feb. 28 at the CVIC Hall in downtown Minden. Auditions for musical revue begin Wednesday

Auditions for the Carson Valley Community Theater's musical revue, "Broadway Through the Decades," are 6-9 p.m. Wednesday and 9 a.m. to noon Feb. 27 at the Carson Valley Inn. Auditions open to singers and dancers of all ages for the show of songs from Broadway shows from 1900s to present, presented May 14-23 at the CVIC Hall in Minden. Bring two Broadway songs - one ballad and one upbeat song - with sheet music, tape or CD for accompaniment. A special role for a female of 60-plus years will also be auditioned. Two for one all-day ice skating passes are available for residents of Minden, Gardnerville, Carson City and Lake Tahoe at the Ice Garden at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe.

The Ice Garden's 60-by-90-foot outdoor refrigerated ice arena is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, depending on weather. Ice skate rental/sharpening services, individual and group skating lessons.
