Outdoor ice skating at Tahoe

Two for one all-day skating passes are available for residents of Minden, Gardnerville, Carson City and Lake Tahoe at the Ice Garden at Heavenly Village in South Lake Tahoe.

The Ice Garden's 60-by-90-foot outdoor refrigerated ice arena is open 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily, depending on weather.

Skate rental/sharpening services, individual and group skating lessons. Special lighting and disco ball, outdoor fireplace and family karaoke. Broadcast of Olympic games on outdoor big-screen TV. Information, (530) 542-4230.
