Never forgotten

Let us not forget the beautiful and heart touching mural located at the cultural center in Minden. This wonderful act of kindness was designed and created by the students from the Aspire school, this is a memorial for our loved ones who passed away before their time.

I have noticed that this year there are no Christmas lights, Christmas tree or ornaments to adorn it. I am one of the parents who lost a teen, I plan to bring battery operated tea lights and place them in a basket for the parents and those who love and miss them.

I found some comfort in doing this last year. They are gone from our reach but never forgotten in our hearts. I will place the basket sometime before dusk. Please take a moment to stop and light one.
