EDITOR:
This letter is being written in response to the letter dated Aug. 20 regarding, "Whose pulling the strings?" Since when does being gay equate with being a communist?
As long as we have uneducated individuals spouting this type of ignorant rhetoric, hate crimes will have fertile ground in which to flourish and thrive. Inherent evil? The only inherent evil here is when one sits in judgement of others.
