Rescuers responded to a single vehicle rollover on Highway 395 south of Spring Valley Drive at about 4:10 p.m. today.
Four people were in the silver Toyota sedan that went off the west side of the roadway.
A man and woman were injured in the accident, with one transported by Care Flight helicopter to Renown Medical Center.
The other was taken to Carson Valley Medical Center along with two children who had superficial injuries, according to medics onscene. Highway 395 was closed for a short time while the helicopter landed.
The Nevada Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident. East Fork firefighters and medics from Carson Valley and south county responded to the accident.
