Two car washes are being held Sunday to raise money for 11-year-old Meneley Elementary School student Rebecca Martin, who remains hospitalized in Southern California after being struck by a car.
One car wash is11 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Stratton Center on Highway 395 and the other is at the Carson Valley United Methodist Church on Centerville.
Kris Garrett said they'll be selling $25 gift certificates for Bodine's & Genghix Asian Fusion for $10.
Domino's Pizza is donating 20 percent of its orders between 4 and 8 p.m. Oct. 1 to the Rebecca Martin fund.
Garrett said Theatre of Acting Discipline will be selling dvds from the Becca Shines concert with proceeds benefiting the Martin family.

Donations may be made to Nevada State Bank Account No. 0598016426 in the name of Sabrina or Rebecca Martin. A fundraiser is set for 4-8 p.m. Sept. 9 at the Minden McDonald's, which will donate 20 percent of its proceeds during that time to the fund.
