Deanne Hoogestraat, Nancy McDermid, Sheryl Gonzales, Staci Lonnegren and Renea Louie package chocolate mints and Genoa gems at the Genoa town kitchen on Wednesday. This candy will be sampled at the Nevada Association of Counties conference in Stateline on Sept. 14-16. Candy is also available for sale at the free Old West Trio concert, 4-6 p.m. today in Genoa Town Park and at the 89th annual Candy Dance Arts & Crafts Fair on Sept. 26-27 in Genoa.
