Staci Hoogestraat of Minden and Anthony Lonnegren, also of Minden, were married Oct. 26, 2007, during a Lutheran Garden Ceremony at the Ocotillo Golf Resort in Chandler, Ariz., with the bride's cousin Matthew Dobyns performing the ceremony.
The bride, daughter of Jay and DeAnne Hoogestraat of Gardnerville, was attended by maid of honor Melissa Oglesby of Gardnerville and sisters Sharon and Amber Hoogestraat. She was given in marriage by her father, Jay Hoogestraat.
The groom, son of Eddie Lonnegren and Donna Lonnegren of Minden, was attended by his brother, Nick Lonnegren, as best man with cousins Scott Haines and Neil Almeida as attendants.
A reception-dinner followed the ceremony at the Ocotillo Resort ballroom with 110 guests. The couple honeymooned at the Grand Canyon for a week and returned to make their home in Minden.
The bride is a 2005 graduate of Douglas High School. She will graduate May 2008 from Western Nevada College with a general studies degree and business certificate.
The groom is a 2001 graduate of Douglas High School and a 2005 graduate of Western Nevada College with an associate of arts degree in accounting. He is employed as a tax examiner with the State of Nevada Department of Taxation.
