Community gives to food closet in August and September

As our client list continues to grow, we ask for any donations possible. As an organization that totally depends on donations, we couldn't help all the people we do without all of the generous donations. Make donations of nonperishable foods or fresh produce, noon to 4 p.m. Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday at the Carson Valley Community Food Closet, 1244 Waterloo Lane, Gardnerville. We received donations of local produce including 73 pounds of pumpkins.
