A celebration of life service for Theodore E. Conover is 11 a.m. Saturday at Carson Valley United Methodist Church in Gardnerville. Mr. Conover, a 17-year resident of Gardnerville, died Sept. 14, 2009, at the age of 88. Mr. Conover was a journalism professor at the University of Nevada, Reno, from 1960 until he retired in 1982. He was preceded in death by wife Edna in October 2004.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Carson Valley United Methodist Church or the Donald W. Reynolds School of Journalism, University of Nevada, Reno, attn: Kristin Burgarello, Reno, NV 89557.
