- South county developer Jim Bawden and a group calling itself the Coalition for Sustainable Communities sued Douglas County to stop the implementation of a growth ordinance. In the lawsuit filed July 2, Bawden claims the county's ordinance was caprcious and that the hearing violated the Nevada Open Meeting Law.Page A1
