Gibbons and Williams engaged

Sandra D. Gibbons and Monty Williams have announced their engagement.

Sandra is the daughter of the late Eloise Bryan of Carson City and the late Leland Gibbons of Fallon. She is a 1979 graduate of Douglas High School and is attending Western Nevada College in Carson City. Sandra is a senior research secretary for the State of Nevada, Legislative Counsel Bureau in Carson City.

Monty is the son of the late Elizabeth and Gordon Williams of Fallon. He is a 1978 graduate of Churchill County High School in Fallon. Monty was in the U.S. Marines from 1980-83. He is executive director of Nevada Statewide Native American Coalition in Reno.

The couple plan to marry Aug. 1, 2009, at the Gold Dust West Casino Hotel in Carson City with the Rev. Ronald A. Rhoads to officiate.
