Stephanie Harper carried a no-hitter into the fifth inning Thursday afternoon in Lake Tahoe as Douglas cruised to an 8-1 win to complete a season sweep over the Vikings.
Harper struck out six and walked two to pick up the win while the Tiger brought seven runs across in the first two innings to get an early jump.
Mia Townsell doubled, Morgan Blomstrom drove in three runs, Emily Weaver had two RBIs and Naomi Roberts had an RBI to lead Douglas.
The Tigers improved to 17-12 overall and 13-4 in league play with a three-game series against Carson and a one-game trip to Wooster remaining on the schedule next week.
