Ensign needs support

I can almost hear the tongue clucking now, by those who stand in condemnation of Sen. Ensign for his admission of breaking his marriage vows while ignoring the Biblical admonition to "let the one among you without sin cast the first stone."

In an ideal society the solemn vows of marriage would be obeyed. But in this Hollywood-driven crotch mentality that we live in, men, such as my father, no longer exist - at least not in detectible numbers. Sen. Ensign is at least man enough to admit, and in the admission stand in condemnation of his act.

Capitol Hill is a spawning ground for similar conduct but don't hold your breath awaiting a similar confession by such as the treasonous Ted Kennedy and his ilk of which there are many. There are countless reasons to excoriate the D.C. crowd as we try like the phoenix to rise from the ashes of our constitution that they have created.

Historically, republics such as ours have, after about 200 years gone in decline, just as ours is now. Men of courage such as Sen. Ensign, represent our last hope. He needs your support.
