$1,000 reward offered for ATM thief

The Douglas County Sheriff's Office is searching for a woman recorded withdrawing a large amount of money from an automatic teller machine with a stolen card as a young male passenger watches her count the bills.

The unauthorized withdrawal was made April 26 at the Minden branch of Bank of America after a woman before the suspect drove away and left her card in the machine.

The suspect reportedly made withdrawals from the victim's account until the limit was reached.

The amount was not disclosed.

The suspect is described as female, late 40s to early 50s, light brown hair with blonde/red highlights and pale complexion. She was wearing sunglasses.

The photographs show the woman counting money as a young boy watches from the passenger's seat.

The suspect's vehicle is a blue, late-model Dodge Durango. The license plates are unknown.

Secret Witness is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the suspect's arrest and, or conviction. The caller will remain anonymous.
