Douglas County Secret Witness is offering a $250 reward for information regarding an incident of obtaining money by false pretenses through fraudulent use of a debit card.
The incident occurred at the Carson City Walmart off Topsy Lane in north Douglas County, on July 26, at approximately 7:41 p.m., according to the Douglas County Sheriff's Office.
Two unidentified men reportedly used an automated teller machine to purchase two $500 money orders with the victim's debit card.
The two men were photographed by a surveillance camera located inside the ATM machine.
The victim reported that he still had his debit card, so it was likely a counterfeit card was used by the suspects, the sheriff's office reported.
