Second Saturday

Three Rooms Gallery hosts a demonstration of lampworking by artist Danielle Reich, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday. Reich creates sculptures from molten glass and teaches in her home studio.

Ongoing art classes at the gallery include raku pottery and firing with Francis Rider, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday. Build your own piece and raku fire at second session. Cost, $60.

MINDEN

Carson Valley Inn entertainment

M8trix continues in the Carson Valley Inn Cabaret Lounge through Sunday, Mack & Tom take the stage June 22-29 and Rolland Dempsey appears June 23-28.

M8trix performs the best of '70s, '80s, '90s, Motown, R&B, pop and jazz, Latin and disco. The band is led by vocalist Stephanya and features David Council on guitar, Eric 'EQ' Young on bass, drummer Adam Lipsky and James 'Jimi' McKinney on keyboards.

Mack & Tom play classic rock 'n' roll from the '50s through the '80s plus contemporary tunes. The group is Bruce McCormack on keyboards and vocals and Tom Dickson on guitar and vocals. The two artists have played together for more than 10 years, many of them as part of the backup band for Louie Fontaine and The Rockets.

Felix and the Soul Cats play funk, soul, reggae and blues tonight at Indigo Restaurant and Bar. The band is Felix Odion, guitar and lead vocals; David Macias, saxophones and guitar; Carl Kline, bass guitar and Bill Heath on drums.

Acoustic Solution is John, Wendy and Seth Andrews who play eclectic folk and electrified acoustic music on guitars, fiddle, mandolin, banjo, piano, percussion and drums.
